Back to Max, most of the cost of the extra $20/mo vs Plus goes towards extra sports programming. So, year-long sports fans are likely to dig this option a bit more. In addition to all the channels in the Plus plan, Max is all about the extra sports. Starting with ESPN News, Yes Network, MSG, MSG+, Golf Channel, CBS Sports Network and FS2, you'll also get plenty of college coverage with ESPN U, ACC Netwok, Big Ten Network, Longhorn Network and the SEC network. Toss in favorites like Cinemax, CMT, Paramount Network and TV Land ... there's a solid amount of extra programming for that additional $20 bucks a month. Finally, keep in mind both Plus and Max get you HBO for free (not a trial), a big selling point over other similar streaming products like Hulu, etc.
