Bravo Channel
Founded: December, 1980
Parent Company: NBCUniversal
Tagline: "Watch What Happens"
Website: bravotv.com
As its name implies, Bravo TV started out featuring performing art shows, indie films and other straight-laced, culturally significant programs. Soon after the turn of the millenium, though, they quickly shifted focus to keep up with their competition and the prevailing trends. So, they went full bore into reality programming and its relatively inexpensive production costs. Years later, it's turned out to be a smart move and probably saved the channel. They still run a few original shows that harken back to its early days (Inside the Actors Studio, etc), but for the most part, it's all pop culture, all the time. See below for its more popular series along with the satellite TV channel numbers.
